News Flash

The 4x4 Champ has won the 2010 BHM points again. Unlike others that have won Pre-Achievement awards this Pre-Achievement is based upon the past achievements that make the points already untouchable.
Plus it is just fun to talk smack.

Award Winning Performance

No surprise here. Yet another dominating performance that only the 4x4 champ could have done. I'm sure the certificate is in the mail.

Another BHM Month down

This month was a tough one. The days I could ride it was cold out and the days it was nice out I couldn't ride. So it was tough to get miles in, but what made it worse was that when the weather was at it's best for a a week or so I was sick. I also had some tendentious that shut me down for two weeks. So while my miles lacked this month I was still able to put in a few. I'm short of last year by approximately 100 miles but last month I was actually way above. March will be good. I have some new strategies to keep me rolling that I'm going to apply. So go ahead and keep thinking everyone is a winner, even if you are sitting on a couch eating pork pie.

Bring It On

Even with the average temps this past month being colder than normal I've still hit my same mileage as I did from last season in the just a few short weeks of riding. JMK and I did a few nippy rides into the wind on 10-15 degree days and Larry K. even put in a 10 degree day ride. Major points to those men while others watched Dr. Phil and drank their hot chocolate.

So I think I need some challengers. Bring it on m@#$% Fo%%$, February just started!

This Just In

It is with great honor that I accept the 2008 BHM points award. 2009 will bring more challenges but I will do my best to repeat. I'm looking forward to all challenges in the BHM points and I would like to thank all those that made my 2008 BHM domination possible.

The Wussy Effect

Some of you may not know it but there is this wave of Wussiness going around out there. I mean really. Claiming points during the "regular season" of cycling does not qualify for BHM points. How can it, even if you live in Arizona and ride in 120 heat it doesn't mean that riding here in 80 degrees or so as a Belgian Hard Man ride. So no points handed out just because you guys did a hard ride on the BHM route. A big WATT-EVVA

Which now brings me to the next wussy thing. Commuting. I mean really. Belgian Hard Men do not ride because they need to, they ride because they mean to. It isn't a requirement to travel from one point to another but a ride in order to do what few others have the guts to do. So just because you ride a few miles to work you are not a BHM. If the weather is crap and you need to get your training ride in during the commute by adding in an extra hour or two. Then you are a BHM.

Rules? Who makes the rules? What are the rules?

Well it goes like this. There are no rules and they are subject to change per my discretion because I make the rules. Why do I get to make the rules. Because I came up with the whole blog thing for BHM after putting one really tough winter of riding in on my own, in the dark, in the snow, on the trails, all to get ready for a Feb. race. So by dominating my own world I make the rules until I'm dethroned.

So have at it wussies, just be happy you can be participating in the BHM points. The race is on and your girlfriend isn't going to let you win!
